Some of the types of belts are
Classical section v-belts also known as conventional type V-belts and are designed for all-purpose & agricultural use.
Wedge-Section & High Capacity Narrow V-Belts also known as space saver belts and are compact, efficient and economical.
Hexagonal Belts suitable where the belts is to bend in both directions for power transmission. These are used where several pulleys are located in one plan and direction of rotation of the driver pulleys is to be reversed without crossing the belt
Banded belts consists of V-belts joined together across their top surface by a reinforced cover strip. They are mainly against specific requirements in classical section, wedge section and other V-sections from 2 to 5 bands. The use of Banded Belts prevents belt twisting, whipping, turning over or leaving the groove completely.
Cable Cord Flat Belts or Joint Less Flat Belts manufactured in endless construction (Joint less) can be used in any flat belt applications. these belts are also suitable for small pulley drives and where torque requirement is very high.
Joint Less Flat Indus Cut Edge Belts applied where the pulley diameter is even or small and the speed ratio is up to 1:14. They have oil & heat resistant and of great strength due to its tough tensile number. Also have a top layer which is without fabric and poly chloroprene base consisting of fiber.
